If you like it cold then this was the race for you! Woke up to a crisp 12 degrees on sunday. My quad would not even start as the the 10/40 was like sludge. Had to put it in front of the exhaust of Brian Keys truck to get it to warm up.
The Bomb was fast but had a horrible road crossing and it took out a couple of riders...Including Bonfire Racing Bill Markel who was starting to gain ground on me....Ended up 2nd on the bomb and stayed there for almost 10 miles. So excited about the change in my life from going to the gym and actually training this year.
Ended up 4th overall but had some great moments. Almost sailed into a wash, hit a rock picked up a rider and got to sing and yell and just have a blast the whole race..God is Good.
